Allen is a graduate of the UBC Fine Arts Acting program. He has performed across Canada and the United States with various companies including Green Thumb Theatre, Theatre La Seizieme and Repercussion Theatre to name a few. He made his screenwriting debut at the Vancouver International Film Festival with his film Kodiak which has since gone on to screen at festivals in London, Australia, and Cannes.
