Vice President
Alishah has been involved with Some Assembly Arts Society since 2012. Over the years, she has explored the role of writer, performer, dramaturge, and now board member. Bringing together her undergraduate studies in English, Drama, and Education, Alishah went on to complete a Bachelor of Education at the University of British Columbia and is currently working as a K-12 teacher in the Lower Mainland. Through her involvement with Some Assembly Arts Society, Alishah began to appreciate theatre beyond simply a means for entertainment. This has since inspired an inquiry into educational drama and how it can be implemented in a variety of subjects, as well as how to use the processes of theatre to build respect and trust within school communities.
