Tina is a LGBTQ2SAI+ writer who comes from Cowichan, BC, and is born of immigrant parents. She has had the privilege of working with poet and novelist Patrick Lane since 2008. Her first full-length book of poetry, In the Bone Cracks of the Walls, was part of a multi-disciplinary art exhibition in Montreal, Vancouver and Italy. She wrote A Housecoat Remains and Playing into Silence. Her latest book of poems is called The Weight of Survival with Caitlin Press. She was Poet Laureate of Nanaimo from 2017-2020 and has been collaborating with composers and the Vancouver Island Symphony.
